Please read through the terms and conditions for bookings, payment, cancellations, and liability carefully.

These terms ensure clarity and a smooth experience for all our clients.

1. Quotations and Availability

  • Wild Cherry Adventures quotations depend on the availability of accommodation and vehicles at the time of booking.
  • Quotations are valid only if a confirmed booking is made in writing within 21 days. After this period, the quotation expires.
  • Any itinerary changes may incur price adjustments.
  • Quotations are based on current rates. If prices increase (e.g., hotel rates, VAT, tourism levies), Wild Cherry Adventures reserves the right to amend the quotation without prior notice.

2. Payment and Cancellation Policy

  • Booking and Payment: Bookings are finalised when the form is complete, the deposit is received and Wild Cherry Adventures has invoiced and confirmed. A non refundable 25% deposit is due on the confirmation date, with the full balance due 60 days before the tour starts. Wild Cherry Adventures reserves the right to withdraw services if payment conditions are not met.

We understand that plans can change. To provide the best service to all our clients, we have the following cancellation terms (if not differently mentioned with a specific tour):

  • Amendments:

If you want to make changes or cancel your safari/camino/trip after the booking, we require the amendment/cancellation request in writing from the individual who made the booking, email the amendment/ cancellation to info@wildcherryadventures.com.

  • Cancellation:
  • 90-60 Days Before Departure: Wild Cherry Adventures reserves the right to charge for costs incurred up to the cancellation date. 
  • Less Than 60 Days Before Departure: A cancellation fee of up to 75% of the total tour price will apply.
  • Last 30 Days Before Departure: A cancellation fee of 100% will apply. 
  • Any cancellation: A 10% administration fee of the total tour cost will be charged, regardless of the timing of the cancellation. 

These conditions align with agreements made with local suppliers, obligating Wild Cherry Adventures to apply these rules to all clients.

3. Bank Transfers and Currency

  • Clients are responsible for any currency fluctuation differences, and Wild Cherry Adventures does not accept these variances.
  • The deposited amount must match the invoice amount, with all transfer fees borne by the client.
  • Payments should be made in South African Rand (ZAR) on a 1:1 basis with Namibian dollars.

4. Insurance

  • Clients must secure comprehensive travel insurance covering personal injury, loss, damage, theft, cancellation, and delay for the entire travel period—from the booking date until after the journey ends. Travel insurance is critical to safeguard against unforeseen cancellations or travel issues.

5. Liability

  • Wild Cherry Adventures, acting as an agent for the client, does not assume responsibility for the terms of airlines, hotels, restaurants, and other businesses involved in the tour.
  • Wild Cherry Adventures, its employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, damages, accidents, delays, or inconveniences that may occur to clients or their belongings due to third-party negligence or any other circumstance.
  • All clients are required to arrange their own travel, luggage, accident, and medical insurance before departure.

The Wild Cherry Adventures Indemnity Form is prior to departure, acknowledging that clients undertake the tour at their own risk and assume responsibility for ensuring their personal travel, accident, luggage and medical insurance is in place.

6. Force Majeure (AKA Acts of God)

Wild Cherry Adventures cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation if the tour is prevented from following its itinerary if unforeseen interruptions occur, such as the out break of natural disasters, civil wars, adverse weather or fires.

7. Passport, Visa, Customs, Health and Foreign Exchange Regulations

The client is responsible for compliance with the applicable passport, visa, health, legal and foreign exchange regulations. Data and information on the above regulations on the part of Wild Cherry Adventures are not binding, but represent a non-binding assistance. All disadvantages resulting from the non- observance of the above-mentioned regulations shall be borne by the client, even if the above-mentioned regulations should be changed after the travel registration.

8. Expectations

Upon arriving in Namibia, please keep in mind that your standards, and the standards of the local population, might differ greatly to what you are accustomed to. Clients are supposed to remain respectful and take care towards the local culture.

9. Itinerary Adjustments and Changes

Wild Cherry Adventures strives to provide a seamless and enriching experience. However, due to the nature of our Caminos, safaris and adventures, the planned tour itinerary, including routes, overnight spots, and activity schedules, may need to be adjusted to ensure the safety and well-being of all clients. Changes may occur for reasons including, but not limited to, weather conditions, safety requirements, animal interactions, or other unforeseen environmental factors.

In such cases, Wild Cherry Adventures reserves the right to alter routes, replace or shift accommodations, and adjust activity schedules as necessary. Our priority is to maintain the quality and safety of the experience, and Wild Cherry Adventure will communicate any significant changes promptly. Please note that these adjustments are made at the sole discretion of Wild Cherry Adventures to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey for all clients.

11. Refusal of Service

Wild Cherry Adventures reserve the right to terminate your booking without notice if we believe your behaviour will cause distress, danger or annoyance to fellow clients & travelers, local population, company property and employees or freelance guides/drivers, animals, third parties or yourself. Cancellation deposit will not be returned, and will not be obligated to refund, or compensate you.

13. Ineffectiveness of Individual Provisions

The invalidity of individual provisions of the contract or these terms and conditions does not result in the invalidity of the entire travel contract.

By booking with Wild Cherry Adventures, clients agree to these terms and conditions.
