Brandberg Hike

A 35 km Namibian Wilderness Adventure

Join us on a 3-day, 2-night hiking adventure into Namibia’s iconic Brandberg Mountain, the country’s highest peak and a place of ancient legend.

This extraordinary wilderness trail offers an unforgettable experience, blending adventure, serenity, and expert support to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. Perfect for nature lovers and outdoor explorers, the Brandberg hike immerses you in rugged granite landscapes, dramatic vistas, and the rich cultural heritage of the “Mountain of the Gods.”

Culinary Highlights

On the Brandberg Hike, we believe that great food is part of the adventure. Our meals are not only nourishing but crafted with flavor and creativity, ensuring that whether you’re a herbivore, carnivore, or somewhere in between, your taste buds will be delighted.

We source the freshest local ingredients to design menus that celebrate Namibia’s culinary richness—think savory game meats alongside organic chicken, beef, and pork, all prepared with care.

Three hearty meals a day are served at a proper table, turning each dining experience into a moment of camaraderie and comfort. Forget bland trail rations—this is a feast in the wilderness.

Even deep in the rugged granite landscapes of the Brandberg, our chefs surprise you with variety and quality, thanks to well-stocked fridges and freezers. From sunrise breakfasts to evening dinners under the stars, every bite is a celebration of good food, great company, and the joy of hiking.

A fabulous experience

Aug 2025 • Friends
Just returned from a fantastic tour experience organised by Ellen & team. Guided through magnificent landscapes with a range of perfectly selected campsites where the support team provided first class care & catering - the food was outstanding! All of were excellent but a shout out to Uno for providing support on some of the more mentally challenging parts of the trek & to Reuben for always making sure my wine box & glass were on hand 😳🤣. Recommended.

Magic in the desert

Oct 2025 • Friends
We had a wonderful trek in the Naukluft National park and the moon valley and khan river valley. My favourite camp was at Spitzkoppe although it’s so hard to choose. The scenery and magical places were spectacular. Ellen and her fantastic team all worked so hard to enable us to camp and eat in style. Fancy having pancakes in the middle of a desert. Sockets in trees at one camp. The tents were large and spacious and the bed comfortable.
I wouldn’t have made the olive grove boulder walk without Uno who helped us all. There were challenges which make you feel proud of yourself.

A special hiking experience in a stunning desert wilderness area

Aug 2025 • Solo
I hiked the 200 km Kaokoveld Camino with Wild Cherry, what an exceptional experience it was with many special touches and oodles of joy.
Nothing was too much effort for the team despite it being such a remote area.
Will surely join other hikes on their programme.

After last year's Kunene Camino, we decided that we definitely need to go back for the Kaokoveld Camino this year and so we did! The beauty of the Kaokoveld were breathtaking. Such an experience to see that part of Namibia as well and to our surprise we saw a couple of the famous stonemen!!!

The camino walks will be without a doubt not so life changing if it was not for Ellen and her team. Steve, George, Ruben, Uno and Ellen...thank you for giving us the time of our lives. Your passion in what you do for our hikers are highly appreciated.
